1. UY Scuti

The biggest known star, 1,708 times wider than our Sun, located 9,500 light-years away in the Scutum constellation. 

2. WOH G64 

A red hypergiant in the Large Magellanic Cloud, 1,540 times the size of our Sun, about 163,000 light-years away. 

3. RSGC1-F01 

A red hypergiant in the Milky Way, 1,460 times larger than the Sun, in the Arches Cluster near the galactic center. 

4. VV Cephei

A yellow hypergiant in the Milky Way, 1,050 times larger than the Sun, known for dramatic brightness changes. 

5. KY Cygni 

A red supergiant in Cygnus, 1,040 times larger than the Sun, 5,000 light-years away. 

6. NGC 3372 

A blue hypergiant in Carina, 870 times larger than the Sun, 8,000 light-years away, very hot and luminous.

A blue hypergiant in Sagittarius, 725 times larger than the Sun, 25,000 light-years away, extremely luminous and young.
